More information ...
The entrance from Carrick Hill Dr. has been moved closer to Fullarton Rd., passing the car parks in reverse order to the previous direction.
The main park nearest to the house is now partly occupied by Rozelle’s restaurant, with steps to the walkway. The ramp access is no longer available, but lift access may be available in the restaurant.
A sloping track to the walkway is available from the second, next nearest car park. From the third car park (the first you will see), you may need to return to the roadway to enter the walking path.
The cafe beside the house has closed, but there are plans to open a kiosk at some future stage.
There were two weddings in progress in the gardens when I visited one afternoon, but they will be less likely on a Friday morning. I think the new Rozelle’s restaurant may be designed to cater for wedding receptions.
The gardens surrounding the house are still magnificent, and there are many views there that I would like to paint.
October 24th, 31st
November 7th
Semaphore Jetty
Car park: Along the Esplanade if available, otherwise the Esplanade car park north of the Palais

November 14th, 21st, 28th

Off Picadilly Rd., Picadilly / Summertown
We usually gather at the near end off Piccadilly Rd., where it is still bitumen. Further up the road it goes to gravel and starts to climb, but part way up there are some nice views back down the valley.
Car park: roadside verge
Toilets: nearest toilets would be at Uraidla Reserve, which is off the Greenhill Rd, on the north side, just to the east of where Swamp Rd joins Greenhill in Uraidla – see the adjacent buttons for Area Map and Toilets Directions.
December 5th, 12th
Capt. Sturt’s Cottage
